Entry Requirements

To be selected for entry into AHC30820 Certificate III in Arboriculture (Climbing Arborist), applicants are required to complete a suitability review, a task participation and medical checklist and a language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) evaluation, prior to enrolment. Applicants must also:

  • Be currently employed within the arboriculture industry
  • Have access to a full Arborist Climbing Kit for use during training and for workplace practice
  • Be able to practice climbing in the workplace under the supervision of a qualified climber
  • Have access to a laptop computer

Funding & Subsidies

Arbortrim Australia is contracted by the Department of Education to provide access to funded training places for eligible applicants under the Skills First Program for training delivered in Victoria.
