Garry Thyer
With over 35 years experience in the industry, Garry Thyer is a well known and respected trainer and consultant.
In 1974 as an A-Grade Linesman and High-Voltage Operator, Garry worked for 11 years with the SEC. During that time, he also worked part-time in the tree industry. He went to Burnley College and Melbourne University to gain his qualifications in Arboriculture, and began his own tree business in 1985. In 1994 Garry established the arboricultural training company Arbortrim.
Garry has also been the National Operations Manager of Yates Garden Care, and since 2000 has been an invaluable consultant and trainer to Arbortrim Australia.
You will meet Garry at the Worksite Traffic Management course, the Electrical Systems ID & Powerline Clearance Requirements course, and throughout all the Cert III and IV in Horticulture (Arboriculture).
