Additional $4,000 incentive for AHC30816 Certificate III in Arboriculture traineeships for employers and $2,000 for trainees for enrolments from 1st July 2019ˆ

From 1st July 2019, an additional Australian Identified Skills Shortage (AISS) payment will be available to eligible trainees and their employers.

Employers may receive up to $13,000 in totalˆ

  • $1,500 payment at commencement and $2,500 on completion
  • $2,000 AISS payment at commencement and $2,000 on completion
  • $4,000 payment if trainees over 21 years of age at 12 months from commencement¹
  • $1,000 regional skills shortage areas payment at 6 months from commencement

Trainees may receive an additional $2,000 from 1st July 2019

¹ Expanding the Support for Adult Australian Apprentices incentive. From 1st July 2019, eligibility for the incentive will be extended to employers who commence an eligible Australian Apprentice aged 21 years and over. More information here
